Primary Purpose:
Serve in the teacher capacity when the regularly assigned teacher is in need of a substitute. Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

Education:
High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Ability to follow school procedures, laws, and take direction

Required Training:
Attend Snook ISD substitute training prior to serving in a classroom

Campus:
This is a general teacher substitute posting for elementary and/or secondary campuses.
